8 Days from Casablanca Imperial Cities Tour

Day 1 Casablanca

Upon arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, you will be met by your personal driver and transferred to your Casablanca hotel, where you will check in and relax. Depending on your arrival time, you will have a visit to the Hassan II, one of the world’s biggest mosques. Your evening meal will be served in the hotel.

Day 2 Rabat – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, included, your group will leave by van towards Fes. On route, we will stop at Rabat, the capital city and residence of the King, for lunch and a time to enjoy the beautiful coastal city, including the old medina, Kasbah of the Oudayas, the Oudaya Gate, and the Hassan Tower. You will then head on to Meknes and visit Moulay Ismail stables, granaries and House of Water, Bab el Mansour, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. In the evening you will finish your trip into Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. Your evening meal will be in the hotel.

Day 3 Fes

After breakfast you will begin our guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled in cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and potters are just a few places we will experience. For lunch you will eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will complete the tour. Your evening meal will be in a local restaurant.

Day 4 Fes

This will be a free day to relax and do some extra exploring of Fes and the souk. Your evening meal will be served in the hotel.

Day 5 Fes – Marrakech

After an early breakfast, the group will depart for Marrakech. The beautiful drive will take you up into the Middle Atlas Mountains and along the base of the High Atlas Mountains.
Once in Marrakech, you will check into your hotel and then head off to the Jemaa el-Fna, the center square of the medina. The famous Jemaa el-Fna, is one of the center attractions of Marrakech. Coming alive at night with the local storytellers, entertainers, and mouth-watering barbeque pits, the square is well worth a visit. A quiet cup of tea on the terrace of an adjacent café provides a spectacular aerial view of the bustling square. Dinner will be served in the hotel.

Day 6 Marrakech

After breakfast, the group will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures. After lunch, you will continue with an exploration of the souk (market) of Marrakech. In the evening, you will enjoy a local restaurant.

Day 7 Marrakech – Casablanca

You will spend this morning in Marrakech enjoy in the souks. In the afternoon you will head back to Casablanca for your final night. Your evening meal will be in the hotel or perhaps you might like to enjoy Rick’s Cafe.

Day 8 Casablanca – Depart

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
