5 Days from Fes to Desert Merzouga

Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

“Desert Horocco Holidays” invites you to explore Sahara desert in private tour from Fez. We pick up you from your hotel and we departure at 8 am, we leave for Midelt through the mountains and the cedar woods of the middle Atlas. We pass Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou an important handicraft centre specialised in the work of cedar wood. After the Zad pass (2,178m) we arrive in Midelt for lunch and afternoon we will drive to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley. Then we continue to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi for the desert tours. Dinner and over night in hotel in Merzouga.

Day 2 : Merzouga 4×4 Tour – Erg Chebbi – Camel Trekkin

After the breakfast, we will make the large turn of the dunes while passing by oases of MERZOUGA, the village of KHAMLIA (village of the Gnaoua) ,mines of MIFISS, the plates desert with the meeting of the Berber nomads of the desert, oasis TISSARDMINE, and return to the hotel for the departure of your camel caravan and we will enjoy the sunset and spend the night in Berber tents in middle of the dunes. Dinner and over night in Bivouac.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Rissani – Toudra Gorges – Boumalne – Dades Valley – Dades Gorges

Early morning we wake up to watch sunrise, then we return by camels to the hotel and after breakfast we departure to Rissani and Erfoud to visit the plant marble fossils. Then we continue to Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves, we arrive to Toudra gorges and we will have lunch here. Afternoon we will drive to Dades gorges via Boumalne and the Dades valley. Dinner and over night in hotel.

Day 4 : Dades Gorges – Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Kelaa M’­gouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast we return via Dades valley to the kasbah of Ait youl, we will pass Rose valley with its Kasbah and ksours, in this area you can see very nice landscapes before you get to Kalla Mgouna. We will have lunch, then afternoon departure to the palme groves of Skoura and we visit the Kasbah of Amredhyle. We continue to Ouarzazate. Dinner and over night in hotel.

Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, we visit of Ouarzazate: the Kasbah of Taourirt, Tifoultout and the cinema studio. Then we will drive to the Kasbah of Ait Ben haddou (under Unesco protection) . We visit the Kasbah and the old village and afternoon we departure to Marrakech via the Tizi-N-Ticha pass. Desert Horocco Holidays” finishes in Marrakech and we drop you off at your hotel.
